175th Anniversary Bonspiel

 A very successful bonspiel was held on Sunday 12th October to celebrate the Clubs 175th Anniversary,  12 rinks had a very competitive and enjoyable day of curling, followed by dinner, which many past curlers of the Club also attended.  Lockhart Steel gave a informative overview of the Clubs history, followed by Archie Gilbert entertaining everyone with his stories.     

Winners of the Bonspiel was David Haggart, Andrew Clark, Drew Walker & Aileen King.  

Runners Up Greg Allan, Alistair Boswell, Margaret Weir, Diana McDonald & Peter Kerbey

Cake was cut by President Douglas Carruthers & Ladies President Jane Dearie. 

 The first games of the Crosthwaith Quaich took place on Tuesday 7th October, with a couple of teams having a strong start!

Fundraising for 175th Anniversary Celebrations

 After very successful Tombola today at Tesco Lesmahagow. Thank you Lesmahagow people.

Over £1200 raised and a list of possible new members to join our Club. It’s our 175 anniversary this year.

Season 24/25

The 24/25 season is nearly upon us. The mixed section starts with the Crosthwaite Quaich league on  Tuesday 8th October. As in previous years this will be double round robin league.

Annual Dinner And Prize-giving 2024

The Lesmahagow curling Club annual dinner and prize-giving took place on Friday 5th April at Lanarkshire Ice Rink. The event was well attended with over 40 curlers and friends enjoying a meal thanks to Stewart and his team and excellent after dinner entertainment from Archie Gilbert.
