In an exciting head to head for the top top spot on the last night of the league, Jim Stewart and his team of Margo Steele (3), John Tough (2) and Douglas Carruthers (1) came through 12-6 to win the first club competition of the season. Runners up Iain Callan (skip), Bob Allan (3), Andy Williamson (2) and David Clark (1) gave them a good game but Jim's team proved stronger on the night.
