Another round of the Nethertown Cup, and its still close!  Wins for David H over Margo, and Jim S over Alan T.  

 A successful day for the Club at the Lanarkshire Province Bonspiel on Wed 4th Feb. 

Ladies team  of Alison Taylor, Joanne Burt, Eileen Fleming and Jane Dearie played at 2.30pm, with the mens rink of Iain McAllister, Christopher Walwin, Tom Steel and Tom Roche playing at 5.45.   With an overall score of +14 across both sessions, this was enough to win the competition.   

Well done to all who played.

 Not quite halfway in the Nethertown Cup, Alan T, David H and Lindsay P all sharing the top spot with 4 points.    But a long way to go!

 And well done to this years Pairs winners - Margo Steel & Douglas Carruthers. 

 Well you can't get much closer than this...   after 10 weeks of competitive League action, across 8 games for each team, all 5 teams are tied on 8 points!!!   

So it goes down to shots, and the winners with +9 are Gordon Gilchrist (skip), Christopher Walwin, John Tough and Seonaid Wilson. 

Close 2nd on +6 was Margo Steel (skip), Willie King, Tom ROche & Terry Paterson.  

Well done to all.  

 Another week of League Games in the Crosthwaite Quaich, and Iain McA picked up 2 points to go level with League Leader Margo. 

Some times have 2 games, but Iain McA  & Margo each only have 1 game, and are tied at the top on 8 points...  are you ready for an exciting finish? 

And watch behind you - David H has 2 games to play and is only 2 points behind...  could there be a late sprint to the top spot by Mr Haggart???

 Back to League Action for the Mixed Club, with Round 6 of the Crosthwaite Quaich.   Iain Callan picked up an important 2 points, and with 2 games to play, any team could still win!

 We had 2 Teams playing in the Grand Match on Saturday, as part of "Team South".   For the men, Iain McAllister, Christopher Walwin, Tom Roche & Tom McGregor.     And our Ladies, Diana McDonald, Jane Dearie, Louise O'Donnelly and Joanne Burt.  

Question is did the Clyde Steamers at half time help or hinder the performance??? 

 Round 5 in the Crosthwaite Quaich, and Margo continues her winning ways.   Other rinks remain close on 4 points, so lots still to play for.
